The Challenge

Grenade wanted to make the most of their ambassador partnership with legendary goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel by creating a fresh, high-impact stills campaign for the Danish market.

The goal was to capture moments in a space that felt real and true to who Kasper is and aligned with Grenade’s bold, high-energy brand.

As with any pro athlete, time was limited. We had a small window to work in, at a live sports facility near Kasper’s training ground. That meant careful planning, minimal disruption and making sure everything ran smoothly from the first shot to the last.

Since we hadn’t worked with Kasper before, building trust quickly was also key. This shoot had to be seamless, leave a great impression and deliver high-quality content that could flex across social, paid and retail channels.

On the clock with Kasper

The Insight

People don’t connect with just a face or a name, they connect with what feels genuine. Kasper might be a world-class goalkeeper, but he’s also known for being grounded, thoughtful and a family man. That balance of elite performance and everyday relatability is exactly what makes him so compelling.

By shooting him in a real training space, doing what he actually does, we could bring both sides of him to life - not just Kasper the athlete, but Kasper the person. That authenticity was what we were out to capture.

The Idea

By anchoring the shoot in his training environment, we could show how Grenade fits into his everyday fuelling routine reinforcing the brand’s connection to high performance, while keeping it relatable and aspirational for lifestyle audiences too. We were then able to create scenes as well as green screen set ups, that would allowed for flexibility across the range of marketing outputs including retail POV, where Kasper and the product needed to be prominent.

What We did

We designed a streamlined half-day shoot that respected Kasper’s availability, while still delivering a strong, creative output. Our plan was sharp and efficient covering hero stills, behind-the-scenes moments and a range of crops for social and retail use.

Creatively, we struck a balance between Grenade’s bold energy and Kasper’s calm, grounded presence. Everything was set up to minimise disruption, maximise value, and make the day feel smooth for everyone involved.

The Result

The final assets formed as a versatile, high-impact content bank that felt fresh, authentic and ready to work across channels.

Social engagement saw a lift during launch, retailers picked up the imagery for in-store, and the partnership helped reinforce Grenade’s credibility in both the sport and lifestyle space.
