For one day only, Lewis Hamilton and Valentino Rossi exchanged rides for a truly historic switch

The challenge

Monster Energy brought us into one of motorsport’s biggest-ever crossovers: Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton swapping machines with MotoGP icon Valentino Rossi. The task? Capture the once-in-a-lifetime event and turn it into a full suite of standout content.

We had to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver over 70 pieces of content for some of the most high-profile social channels in sport, including on-the-day hero edits, while working alongside Sky Sports’ F1 team to cover every key moment. Fast, flawless, and built for global distribution.

The insight

When stars align like this, the project isn’t just about giving fans something to see—it’s about access, timing, and turnaround. Fans want immediacy. They want behind-the-scenes glimpses, raw reactions, and headline moments, all within hours of the action wrapping. They want to feel it.

This audience doesn’t wait. And when your content features two of the most followed and celebrated athletes on the planet, the bar for quality and speed is sky-high. We knew we had to operate like a pit crew—fluid, responsive, and absolutely dialled in.

The game plan

Keep the production footprint tight, but the output massive. We worked hand-in-hand with Monster’s social and PR teams to map out every deliverable in advance, while building in space for spontaneous magic. Our approach: embed an on-site post team to edit in real time, so the content could start dropping almost as fast as the lap times.

Bringing it to life

We sent a lean, three-person crew to work side-by-side with Sky’s F1 team and Monster’s social leads, editing on the ground as the event unfolded. Within two hours of the chequered flag, we had the first hero film ready to publish.

In the days that followed, we delivered a two-minute hero film, race drone edits, POV cuts, and over 70 tailored social assets across Monster Energy, Lewis Hamilton, Valentino Rossi, Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1, and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s global platforms.

The results

The reaction was just as expected from a project featuring two of motorsport’s undisputed legends.
